Texas Spiny Lizard

It’s not exactly baking on a warm rock but it’s close enough! This Spiny Lizard is pretty happy laying in the warm light cast by this lovely outdoor light installed by us at a location in Southlake, TX!

What a great opportunity

I prepared for this for weeks, but I’m still nervous. This is why I went into LIGHTING, not into ACTING!

Don’t we look great!

Well Light – Well done

This job was done by our competitor in North Richland Hills, and the homeowner says they would not come out to service the job! The fixtures have caught fire and burned, and the circuit breaker in the panel has tripped. The transformer is not on a GFI. Wow.

Nightscaping – Rebuilding some special fixtures

0

A couple in Dallas have had special lighting in their tree beside their patio for many years. The fixtures are special to them – they were bought on their anniversary and the husband installed them himself. Over the years, he’s changed light bulbs and tried to keep them going for his wife. Sadly, years have gone by without professional maintenance, and the tree has engulfed the wire, the squirrels have eaten it, and the sockets of the fixtures have cracked and broken out. I’m going to re-build them.

Improper 120 volt installation

0

This is NOT how you do it.
This is a good 120 volt fixture, but it’s installed poorly. Why? The cable is just laying on the ground! It;s required by NEC code to be installed below grade in conduit – for safety! We’ll be re-doing ALL of this.
